The New Orleans Saints offense is rejuvenated for 2023. They have a proven quarterback in Derek Carr. Their offensive line looks to be healthy and revitalized. The weapons on offense are impressive as well, especially if Michael Thomas stays healthy. Tight end Foster Moreau and running back Jamaal Williams are primed to have a legit impact as new pieces.

One returning wide receiver is already making waves at practice, though. There are gleaming reports regarding young receiver/returner Rashid Shaheed.

Shaheed totaled 488 receiving yards as a rookie last season. He was signed as a UDFA by the Saints and became an important piece for them on offense and special teams. Alongside Chris Olave, the duo can provide a special vertical game for the Saints and Derek Carr.

Shaheed was an explosive player for New Orleans last season. It sounds like there's more of that coming for him and the Saints this season. Keep an eye on him as the season approaches.
