Still, not every gap was filled, leaving the team with some lingering questions.
Will Dallas Goedert Be on the Team in 2025?
As of right now, Dallas Goedert remains a member of the Eagles, but his future with the team is uncertain. Despite speculation that the Eagles might trade him, especially during the 2025 NFL Draft, it was swept under the rug and did not happen.
Additionally, the Eagles chose not to draft a tight end, suggesting they are either confident in keeping Goedert for the final year of his contract or have a different plan to address the position.
It doesn't help that general manager Howie Roseman offered little clarity on the situation when speaking to reporters after the draft.
“Dallas is part of the team as we speak. Obviously, as we go forward, we’re going to continue to address things on this team and right now nothing further,” Roseman said.
Who Will Start at Right Guard?
The Eagles' situation at right guard has become much clearer following Mekhi Becton's departure in free agency and the draft.
It looks like Tyler Steen, a third-round pick from the 2024 draft, is expected to step into the starting role for the 2025 season. Although the position has seen frequent changes in recent years, the Eagles appear to believe in Steen moving forward. Philadelphia also added center/guard Drew Kendall in the fifth round of the draft, who could compete for snaps at the spot, too.
Who Steps Up Behind A.J. Brown & DeVonta Smith?
The Eagles did not heavily invest in the wide receiver group this offseason through free agency or the draft, leaving depth behind A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith looking questionable.
Philly also opted not to pick up Jahan Dotson's fifth-year option, which means he will hit NFL free agency next March.
Behind the Eagles' three key wideouts, there is not much proven talent, and that could be a major problem for them if they don't address the position and then injuries occur.

Dallas Goedert is still here.
