It's NFL draft week, which means the waiting and guessing is almost over for who the Philadelphia Eagles might pick at No. 22 overall.

But there's still time to dream until the first round kicks off on Thursday, April 27.

So until then, let's take a look at five players that should be on the Eagles' Round 1 wishlist.

1. CB Quinyon Mitchell, Toledo

Quinyon Mitchell is widely regarded as the best cornerback in the draft.

The Toldeo product dominated the pre-draft process and checked off every box from size, physicality, speed, coverage, and tackling.

At 6-foot, 195 pounds, Mitchell ran an impressive 4.33 40-yard dash and recorded a 38-inch vertical at the NFL Combine.

In three seasons with the Rockets, he registered 123 total tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, one forced fumble, one sack, 45 passes defended, and six interceptions. But what sticks out the most is that 37 of those pass breakups came in his final two years.

2. T/G Troy Fautanu, Washington

Troy Fautanu is a versatile draft prospect with experience playing both left tackle and guard during his time at Washington.

As a two-year starter for the Huskies, Fautanu gave up only two sacks through 40 games with 28 starts.

For his incredible efforts, he was named to All-Pac-12 second-team honors in 2022 and earned first-team honors in 2023. Additionally, he won the Morris Trophy last fall –given to the best offensive lineman in the Big Ten.

3. DB Cooper DeJean, Iowa

Cooper DeJean is a dream and some in the Eagles' front office have already raved over him.

DeJean's versatility is what makes him such an intriguing prospect since he has experience playing everywhere from outside cornerback to slot corner and safety at Iowa. He could also develop into a linebacker if needed.

During his time with the Hawkeyes, DeJean returned three of his seven career interceptions for a touchdown.

4. T Amarius Mims, Georgia

Here's the Georgia guy.

If Amarius Mims is still on the board at No. 22, the Eagles won't pass him up. They love their giant SEC guys, especially if he's a Bulldog.

Mims, who is 6-foot-7 and 340 pounds, ran a 5.07-second 40-yard dash. A man that big shouldn't move that fast but he does and he does it well.

Some experts are concerned that he doesn't have a lot of experience as a starter, but his natural freak athleticism should cancel that out.

5. CB Terrion Arnold, Alabama

Yes, another cornerback on the wishlist because the Eagles desperately need one and Terrion Arnold ranks amongst the best.

The Alabama product is fresh off a 2023 season where he was named first-team All-American honors after logging 63 tackles, 17 passes defended, 5 interceptions, a sack, and one forced fumble

Of the corners on this list, Arnold is considered pro-ready and wouldn't take much time to adjust to the NFL level.
