The Philadelphia Eagles are the most balanced team in football. I don't know how many times we have talked about it now, but eventually, someone new will learn.

The defense has now made another team walk away and think about just how good that unit is. The defense is leaving a lasting impression or a bad taste in the mouths of their opponents, and the same could be said of Bears' quarterback Justin Fields, who went through hell on Sunday.

"Yeah, they're big, strong, fast. They're deep, too. They have guys coming in, rotating. They have vets. They do a great job rotating those guys, keeping them fresh. That makes it easier on them when they come in, only playing two plays every four plays, every five plays," Fields said after the game.

And that reason right there is exactly why they went out to get the pieces they did get. Guys like Robert Quinn, Linval Joseph, and Ndamukong Suh were literally brought in for that reason to rotate in and out and keep everyone fresh, which will only help the deeper they go into the season.

"They're staying fresh. I think they did a great job putting pressure on me today. Their defense did a pretty good job. I think our O-line held up pretty good, too. I mean, yeah, give credit to them, for sure."

I would have to agree they did a good job of putting pressure on Fields. I mean, usually, when you sack a quarterback six times, you put a bit of pressure on the guy.

This Eagles' defense has a way of getting to the quarterback. In fact, they are on pace to beat their franchise record of sacks in a season at 62, as they currently sit at 55 with three games left. In the last two games, they have 13 sacks combined.

It is safe to say this defense is elite, and it will likely carry over into the playoff as well.
