Philadelphia Eagles safety CJ Gardner-Johnson drew two unsportsmanlike penalties before he was ultimately kicked out of last week's loss to the Washington Commanders.

However, he quickly made up for running his mouth too much when he made big plays in this Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys.

He first picked off quarterback Cooper Rush and ran the ball back 69 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter.

The pick-6 marked Gardner-Johnson's first of his NFL career.

And then in the second quarter of the game, he intercepted Rush again.

Gardner-Johnson now has six interceptions for the 2024 season with one more game left to go.

The defense's takeaways are a huge help for the Eagles offense, especially since they are without starting quarterback Jalen Hurts due to a concussion, so they could use all the extra help they can get.
