The Philadelphia Eagles are far from hesitant when it comes to adding former Georgia Bulldogs to their roster.
In fact, they currently have six Bulldogs products that make up their defense — four of whom are starters (Jalen Carter, Nakobe Dean, Nolan Smith and Jordan Davis) and helped get the Birds a Super Bowl win.
With the 2025 NFL Draft coming up, the Eagles have another chance to stack more Bulldogs and ESPN's NFL draft expert Daniel Jeremiah projects they do just that with their first-round pick.
In Jeremiah's mock draft 2.0, he has Philly selecting Georgia safety Malaki Starks with the No. 32 overall pick of the draft.
The Eagles add another versatile piece to the secondary in Starks, who joins the “Georgia North” all-stars in Philadelphia.
Starks, 6-foot-1 and 205-pounds, enters the draft after leading the Bulldogs in tackles this past season with 77. He also had one interception and three pass breakups.
The former five-star recruit-turned All-American, racked up 197 career tackles and six interceptions in three seasons at Georgia.
The Eagles have the best and youngest secondary in the NFL and adding Starks would only make it that much more dangerous.
The only problem is whether or not Starks would be available at No. 32, but if Eagles general manager Howie Roseman really wants him, then he is not going to be afraid to make a trade.
