Philadelphia Eagles' safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson went off on a rant on "X" Wednesday morning, and while nobody is entirely sure what he was ranting about, some have an idea.

The posts fired off after released cornerback Darius Slay said safety Reed Blankenship would be the guy to fill his leadership void in the secondary.

"Reed being around me and a lot of veterans before, I'm sure he could lead that group the right way," Slay said on his Big Play Slay podcast. "That's who I feel would be leading the group if I ain't in the building. He's a great damn leader. If they brought another veteran in who has played a lot, they could be a leader. But for sure, if I'm not in that room, Reed Blankenship will be a great one."

Gardner-Johnson then posted the following on X:

He did delete two posts along the way that came after saying he wasn't talking about his team:

If we need a vet that played alot to help us sheesh didn’t learn from the last mistake 😂— C.J. Gardner-Johnson (@CGJXXIII) March 6, 2025

But here, CJGJ is discussing his team:

Vet presence is always needed don’t get me wrong! But bro what “Vet” is needed when young guys can hold their own (Q& Coop) and you got a crazy duo with Reed and Me?! And the supporting cast (Ringo, Zay, Andre Sam, Eli, Sydney, Tristin) stay with the youth u ask me!! — C.J. Gardner-Johnson (@CGJXXIII) March 6, 2025

He had one more thing to say before moving on to something else.

This ultimately led to Slay responding to CJGJ's "not a crash out."

Welcome back to the offseason, Philly fans.
