Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith reminded everyone in week three against the Washington Commanders that he's an elite NFL player.

In week one, Smith was held to 0 catches by the Detroit Lions.

Last week, Smith had a nice bounce-back performance by catching seven passes for 80 yards.

Week three, however, saw Smith return to superstar status.

The former Alabama standout led the Eagles in receiving by catching eight passes for 169 yards and a touchdown.

One of the highlights of the day for Smith was this impressive reception in the second quarter.

After the Eagles' win, Smith dropped a quote that Philly fans will surely love.

Smith told reporters that his philosophy on 50/50 ball is that it's his ball or no one's ball.

It's hard to argue with him, considering he made a couple of impressive catches on 50/50 balls on Sunday (he also drew a pass interference call on one such play).

Smith and AJ Brown in the same offense doesn't seem fair. Good luck to the rest of the NFC East — this Eagles team is for real.
