Philadelphia Eagles 3-round 2026 NFL mock draft: Howie Roseman creates déjà vu scenario and picks QB to replace Jalen Hurts
The Eagles find one replacement plan for QB Jalen Hurts in latest mock draft.
The Philadelphia Eagles have plenty of concerns right now. They’ve lost three matchups in a row. The offense looks timid and frustrated. There is clear pressure on the coaching staff and quarterback Jalen Hurts. With that in mind, it is a good idea to think about the long-term plan for Philly, including the 2026 NFL Draft.
2026 Eagles 3-Round Mock Draft
I ran a 3-round mock draft exercise with a unique wrinkle for the future of the Eagles offense. Check it out below.
Round 1, Pick 21: Jermod McCoy, CB, Tennessee
Philadelphia kicks off their class by selecting arguably the top prospect at his position who fell a bit in this scenario. McCoy hasn’t played this season due to injury, but he was marvelous last season for the Vols. He was one of the top cornerbacks in the SEC and showed off elite traits that will translate to the next level. As long as his medicals check out during the process, McCoy feels like a potential home run for whoever can land him in round one.
Round 2, Pick 54: Jayden Maiava, QB, USC
Put away the pitchforks. Stop throwing the tomatoes. This is a blueprint we have seen from GM Howie Roseman in the past when the Eagles selected Jalen Hurts in the first place. The general manager has even discussed how valuable it can be to take shots on QB during the NFL Draft on a near annual basis.
Maiava is an incredibly smooth mover in the pocket who isn’t afraid of contact. The USC product makes a ton of impressive throws on the run and possesses one of the fastest releases in college football. He also trusts himself when it comes to timing patterns, a key for Philly’s offense in recent seasons. This sort of swing matches Philadelphia’s DNA and immediately creates more intrigue around the future at QB for the Eagles.
Round 3, Pick 69: Damon Wilson Jr., EDGE, Missouri
Wilson gets overshadowed at times by his teammate, Zion Young, but I think it is absolutely possible that both of them go on day two of this draft. The Eagles traded for Jaelan Phillips at the deadline – which has worked out nicely so far. That being said, the pass rushing group needs another youthful piece with potential. Enter: Wilson. He’s a great mover who shows off more technique than other rushers who will go in this range most likely.
Round 3, Pick 98: Jack Endries, TE, Texas
The future of Dallas Goedert in Philadelphia is a bit cloudy, at best. The veteran tight end is not under contract next season as of now. Endries is a big-bodied TE who has cnssitnetly shown receiving prowess during his college career. He needs to shore up his drops, but he is better after the catch than many would expect. This fit makes a ton of sense for both sides.
Should the Eagles invest in quarterback sometime in the 2026 NFL Draft? What do you think of these picks overall? Let us know on social media.
