The Philadelphia Eagles have absolutely destroyed their opponents in the 2023 playoffs so far. They beat the Giants, a team they had already beaten two times this season, 39-7. Then they beat the second-best team in the NFC all season long 31-7.

It's safe to say no one in the conference ever stood a chance. They have been that good all year, and something else comes with that.

When you are as good as the Eagles are, you get confident, and a good team that is confident but also humble. it can get scary. The Eagles are confident in themselves, but more importantly, Nick Sirianni is confident in his team.

When asked about his three-fourth down conversions, he answered in the best way possible.

"We have confidence," Sirianni said. "It's when you go for it on fourth down, you put yourself in those scenarios all week. We have so many meetings about that, of what we're gonna do in these scenarios calls. We might call what we would call if we've already called that and everything like that.

"So you put yourself through those calls. But at the end of the day, you make the decision because you trust the people that are out there doing the job and I trust Jason Kelce… I trust Jalen to go do what they did right there in that scenario."

They definitely have confidence, and that first fourth-down play you saw exactly that. The Eagles were in the red zone with 10 minutes left in the first, and on fourth and three Jalen Hurts scrambles and hits Smith deep by the goal line.

Besides the spectacular catch made by Smith, which some are saying wasn't a catch, the most impressive thing is how calm and confident the team looked going for it that early in the game.

The Eagles were 3/3 on fourth-down tries in the game and had five third-down conversions to the 49ers' two.

If that doesn't say confidence, I don't know what will, and the Chiefs will have to deal with that next Sunday.
