Philadelphia Eagles star wide receiver A.J. Brown has grown tired of his name always being involved with NFC rival CeeDee Lamb.

He let as much be known in a series of now-deleted tweets where Brown said the comparisons are not warranted because Lamb's game is limited to one part of the field.

"He plays slot and I play outside and inside," Brown wrote.

Brown, in an attempt to bridge a gap, suggested that Rams receiver Cooper Kupp would be a more accurate player to compare to Lamb.

Brown doubled down in stating that his game is drastically different than that of Kupp and Lamb who spend the majority of their time playing in the slot.

He added in a separate tweet, saying he wasn't "taking a shot" at Lamb "because he is cold and you'll know I don't care about the rivalry either."

Brown may say he wasn't taking shots at any of the receivers he mentioned. But what is clear is that he is tired of hearing inaccurate comparisons to what he brings to the table compared to slot receivers.

Brown is a legitimate downfield threat, and he is often matched up with the best defensive back on the opposing team. In the slot, Lamb and Kupp see more favorable matchups. Either way, Brown is clearly frustrated at the unwarranted comparisons.
