Eagles Week 2 Injury Report Observations

  • Rodgers told reporters before practice that he broke his hand on the last day of training camp and had surgery on it. "He’s healed up enough to play but they’ll see how this week goes. If he is able to play, he’ll need to have protection on the hand," NBC Sports Dave Zangaro reports.
  • Rodgers is still waiting to make his NFL debut as an Eagles following a one-year-long gambling suspension.
  • Williams' foot injury was new and is something to keep an eye on. Thomas Booker IV and Moro Ojomo are solid backups there if needed.
  • It's good to see White back at practice in full after he missed last week, however, Nakobe Dean has officially been named the starter over him. Additionally, Head coach Nick Sirianni confirmed this week that White still has a big role with the team. We'll what that is on Monday.
  • Brown's hamstring injury was a new addition to the injury report on Friday, though he still practiced at limited capacity.
  • Johnson's thumb injury is also new and he was limited at practice.
