Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham is one step closer to suiting up against the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.

The Eagles announced on Thursday that they have opened the practice window for Graham.

That means the Eagles officially have 21 days to activate Graham off injured reserve. However, the hope is that they do it a lot sooner that for Super Bowl Sunday on Feb. 9.

Graham's 2024 regular season came to and end in Week 12 due to a torn triceps injury and he was immediately placed on IR.

NBC Sports' John Clark reported this week that Graham has been working with his doctor and therapist every day to return in time for the Super Bowl.

Graham's availability for Super Bowl Sunday would be huge for the Eagles, because even at 36-years-old, he still has plenty of lot of juice left in him.

Before exciting the 2024 season early, Graham racked up 20 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and one forced fumble.

Not to mention that if he is cleared to return for Super Bowl 59, then the big game would likely mark the last time he suits up for the Birds before he officially retires.

In addition to opening Graham's practice window, the Eagles also opened tight end C.J. Uzomah's practice window, signed running back Lew Nichols to the practice squad, and released tight Nick Muse from the practice squad.
