The Philadelphia Eagles officially opened the practice window for Bryce Huff on Wednesday ahead of their Week 16 matchup against the Washington Commanders.
Huff underwent surgery on his wrist in Week 11 and missed the Eagles' last four games.
He had previously been playing through the injury with a cast on his wrist.
"He had really done a good job of battling through but this will hopefully help get him some more function in that hand and we’ll see as the season continues," Sirianni said back in November when Huff was sent to Injured Reserve. "I just can’t say enough of how he battled through and tried to keep going through it. Hopefully, this helps him
The Eagles signed Huff to a three-year, $51.1 million deal in free agency with hopes of him filling the void left by Haason Reddick. That, however, has not been the case. Huff has racked up just 10 total tackles, 2.5 sacks, and one forced fumble through 10 games this season. But maybe a healthier wrist will change things for him.
The Eagles now have 21 days to activate Huff off Injured Reserve.
In addition to welcoming Huff back to practice, the Eagles also signed 2024 undrafted free agent tight end Kevin Foelsch to the practice squad.
The Eagles are still without Dallas Goedert (knee), so Foelsch adds emergency depth at the position.
