The Philadelphia Eagles (12-3) Week 17 home game against the Dallas Cowboys (7-8) has a new kickoff time.

Rather than kicking off in the late afternoon at 4:25 p.m. ET, the rivalry matchup has been moved to the 1 p.m. ET early slate.

The Minnesota Vikings (13-2) vs. Green Bay Packers (10-4), which is the better matchup, will take the place of the Eagles-Cowboys game.

The Eagles are dealing with a handful of injuries, including to their starting quarterback Jalen Hurts, who suffered a concussion in Week 16's loss to the Washington Commanders.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys are just not a good team this season and were forced to turn to backup Cooper Rush after losing Dak Prescott to a season-ending injury in Week 9.

It will be interesting to see if Hurts can clear concussion protocol by Sunday or if backup Kenny Pickett will get the start vs. Rush and the Cowboys.

Sunday marks the Eagles' second matchup versus Dallas this season.

They last squared off in Week 10 where the Eagles won 34-6.
