The Philadelphia Eagles have had success brewing for quite some time. How? Well, Jalen Hurts described it in the best way possible. The success was always going to come for him, as he has continually proved the doubters wrong.

But was the team success always going to be there? Even after losing in the first round last season, in a game that frankly wasn't close.

The success was always brewing because of his childhood, and the friends he grew up with, or even went to college with, that are helping him in 2022, and will help him in the Super Bowl.

"I think with a guy like A.J., my friend, always talking to him about ball since I was a freshman in college, always talking to him about ball, always having these conversations and building our football I.Q.," Hurts said during media availability on Tuesday. "I think it's always been something that's been building. I think when the rubber hit the road, it just went smooth, you know, him coming to Philly, us having the opportunity to play together, I think it all happened naturally.

"It was all organic and you know, he hit the ground rolling, we hit the ground rolling and hopefully we can do that for years to come. But he's a big-time player and the same goes with Smitty. You know, I feel like when we had our time in Alabama, we had a little connection there, and getting him to come to Philly was kind of icing on the cake."

Philly was the icing on the cake, is exactly what Eagles fans love to hear. They brought the squad together, and it's crazy that in their first-year together with the three of them all on the same team at once, they make the Super Bowl.

That is why the Eagles had success brewing long before this season. Even when they lost last season in the playoffs. Even when everyone was doubting Hurts, they knew what would happen.

This team will be competing for a long time, and I think the chemistry they have shown, also proves they can be the next team that is the team to beat in the NFC every year.
