The Philadelphia Eagles no longer have an offensive coordinator or defensive coordinator but are now one step closer to finding out who their defensive coordinator will be for the 2023 season.

The Eagles recently interviewed Jim Leonhard, the former Wisconsin Badger defensive coordinator, for their coordinator job. This is taking the next step to finding out who will lead the defense.

Leonhard played in the NFL from 2005-2014 and was actually not bad as a defensive back for some of those seasons.

He then became the defensive backs coach at Wisconsin, and then was promoted to defensive coordinator, and was the interim head coach there this last year.

If you ask Wisconsin fans, they love this hire for Philly because he is great at his job, and his players play for him.

Not to mention he was an NFL player not too long ago, which also helps with the players.

I would love this hire too, and hopefully, the interview went well
