Just 12 rushing yards is all Philadelphia Eagles running back D'Andre Swift needs in order to reach 1,000 rushing yards for the first time in his career.

Swift came close to reaching the benchmark on Christmas Day after running the ball 20 times for 92 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles' 33-25 win over the New York Giants.

When reporters approached Swift after the win and informed him that he just barely hit a new milestone, he was unphased by his personal stats.

"That's a great benchmark for any running back," Swift said. "So yeah, close to it or whatever. As long as we're winning, that's really all I care about, everything else can come after."

The former 2020 second-round pick of the Detroit Lions has been a workhorse for the Eagles in his homecoming season, playing in all 15 games (14 starts) so far while running the ball 216 times for 988 yards and five touchdowns.

With the Eagles getting their run game back, there's no doubt that Swift won't reach over 1,000 rushing yards against the Arizona Cardinals and their worst-ranked run defense on Sunday.
