The Philadelphia Eagles are on tap to face a Los Angeles Rams offense that features two of the league's top wide receivers, Cooper Kupp and Puka Nakua.

Kupp and Nakua, who are back to full health, enter this week's matchup after combining for 229 receiving yards and three touchdowns against the New England Patriots in Week 11.

"Yeah, two really good receivers," Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio said. "They really have good [chemistry], both of them, with [Rams QB Matthew] Stafford. They are strong at the catch point. Both of them are strong receivers. Both are excellent runners after the catch. [The Rams] have played, I don’t know how many games, but more than a few without either one of them.

"For them to be at this point in the season with the injuries they have had speaks highly of their players and their coaching staff. Now they are back pretty much to full strength offensively and they will be a tough group to defend."

That means all eyes will be on Eagles' rookie cornerback Quinyon Mitchell once again.

It should be a normal task for Mitchell as he has been able to lock down several star receivers already this season, and while his numbers don't necessarily light up the stat sheet, he hasn't allowed a single touchdown through 10 games.

In fact, Mitchell is the only cornerback in the NFL right now who has faced 375-plus coverage snaps without allowing a single passing touchdown.

If he can keep it up against LA's receivers, then his case for the 2024 Defensive Rookie of the Year award will be tough to beat.
