The offseason has plenty of viral moments around the NFL. Wholesome ones are better than the alternative for players. Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Devonta Smith got to enjoy one of those this weekend.

Eagles WR Devonta Smith catches touchdown versus IShowSpeed

Streamer “IShowSpeed” lived up to his name during a highlight from this weekend’s celebrity flag football game, coined the Fanatics Flag Football Classic.

Jalen Hurts connected with Devonta Smith for a touchdown, but the streamer was incredibly close in pursuit of the NFL WR. People were surprised at his speed, even though that word is, in fact, in his streamer mantra.

The internet has exploded with reaction from this clip on multiple levels. Firstly, it was pretty cool to see the YouTube and streaming icon stay nearly in stride with Smith. He was not dominated by the Eagles playmaker in any capacity and instead, made it an interesting contest.

On the flip side, it was an awesome connection to see between Smith and his quarterback. The Eagles lacked a downfield passing game for a bulk of last season, and fans are clamoring for more chances to pick up big gains in 2026.

Keep in mind – a reality where Smith is the top WR for the Birds next season is on the table. A.J. Brown could be a post-June 1 trade option, and plenty of reports have swirled about that potential outcome for Philly’s offense. If it is the case, we could see the most productive season of Smith’s career so far in 2026.
