The Philadelphia Eagles couldn't hold off the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night, losing 33-13.
That's now two back-to-back blowout losses that the Eagles are dealing with as they head into Week 15.
So, what's next for the Bird gang other than a road trip to face the Seattle Seahawks?
Veteran defensive tackle Fletcher Cox says it's time to scope out the real leaders on this team.
“I’ve been part of teams where the dudes in the locker room do something about it, and I’ve been part of teams where it kind of crumbles,” Cox said post-game, via ESPN “Now it’s time to see the real leadership and the real players, the guys that are elite on this team, myself included, step up and do something about it and get this team another win.”
Both sides of the ball struggled against Dallas. The offense fumbled three times, including two twice in the red zone, while the defense allowed Dallas to finish 3-for-3 in the red zone and was successful on 9-of-16 third down conversions.
However, Cox managed to be a bright light in the mess. He strip-sacked Dak Prescott, which led to rookie Jalen Carter scooping the ball up and running it into the end zone for a 42-yard touchdown.
That was the only touchdown of the night for the Birds as quarterback Jalen Hurts completed just 18 of 27 passes for 197 yards with no touchdowns and a fumble.
The Eagles are now tied in the NFC with the Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers, making their final four-game stretch all must-wins.
