The Philadelphia Eagles are on a different level right now when it comes to their pass-rush. They have by far the best pass-rush in the league, and frankly it isn’t close.

They are so close to breaking the single season record for sacks by a team, which is currently 71 sacks in a season by the 1986 Bears. The Eagles have already broken their franchise record as they now have 68 sacks on the year, and the next highest team has 52.

There is a reason they are so good, though. They put pressure on the offensive line, and make it so hard for other teams to game plan against them.

"Oh, absolutely it makes it so much easier," Cox said when asked about the other pass rushers making his job easier. "Knowing that, hey, on this play I know I'm getting a 1-on-1, there is no way they can slide it if we have five down, there is no way they can double team anybody. You just take advantage of that stuff. You have to thank the coach for calling it, the guys around you, everybody."

The Eagles have guys all across the defensive line that can get the job done, no matter who is lined up across from them. A huge reason is because of who they have brought in over the last few years and even this season. The depth is real.

"Howie [Roseman] did a good job of bringing guys in that can win a 1-on-1," Cox continued.

Haason Reddick has been the biggest part of the pass-rush this season, as he currently has 16 sacks on the season. The free-agent acquisition has also been one of the best at his position in the entire league, and because of how well everyone else has payed, other teams are forced to just play 1-on-1.

The record is 71, as we said earlier, with 68, they only need three more sacks to tie, and hopefully they can do that on Sunday against the Giants.
