The Philadelphia Eagles got the win on Sunday against their rival New York Giants, but barely. This is the third game in a row that was a very winnable game. But this time they had Jalen Hurts, so there is even more reason to be concerned.

The biggest reason for concern is because of how poorly the offense played against a team not playing their starters, against an Eagles team that was, with Hurts in.

One thing that stood out, which I think everyone probably noticed, was the Eagles' red zone offense. It didn't look as great as we have seen it this season.

Nick Sirianni certainly wasn't happy about it either.

"It was uncharacteristic of us, and everything kind of goes into play," Sirianni told reporters after the game. "The way we all play in the red zone and coach in the red zone has a lot of different factors into it."

There is one thing the Eagles did differently on Sunday that may have been a huge reason why the red zone offense wasn't as efficient. This was Hurts first game returning from the injury he got in Week 15, so, he was a little rusty as we all imagined he would be.

However, the Eagles also didn't draw up any designed run plays for him in the red zone, something they have been doing all year. The entire year they have been a decent passing team in the red zone, but most of their work comes from the run game by way of Hurts.

Maybe because of injury, the Eagles didn't want to run in a more compacted field space. I mean, that is what I would assume.

Luckily for them, they still have one more week to get ready for the playoffs and fix those issues. 1/5 in the red zone won't cut it for the Cowboys or Buccaneers.
