The Philadelphia Eagles’ pass rush reached record heights in 2022. Led by the NFL’s No. 2 sack man, Haason Reddick, Philadelphia is poised to make even more noise in the upcoming season.

Reddick established himself as one of the league’s premier pass rushers behind a 16-sack season. His production was beyond enough to earn his first Pro Bowl nod of his career, but it also put him on a national radar as one of the most impactful edge defenders the NFL has to offer.

Pro Football Focus believes Reddick is knocking on the door of becoming a Tier 1 edge rusher. In fact, PFF ranked Reddick at No. 7 on a recently released list of the NFL’s Top-32 edge rushers.

From PFF: Reddick’s 2022 season was a career year, notching 16 sacks (his third straight season breaking double digits) with a 16.8% pass rush win rate.

Just ahead of Reddick are the following edge rushers:

  1. Myles Garrett, Cleveland Browns
  2. Micah Parsons, Dallas Cowboys
  3. Nick Bosa, San Francisco 49ers
  4. T.J. Watt, Pittsburgh Steelers
  5. Maxx Crosby, Las Vegas Raiders
  6. Joey Bosa, Los Angeles Chargers

When accounting for a full body of work, it’s difficult to argue against this group. With that being said, Reddick’s 2022 season has placed him in prime position to join this group if he can carry last year’s momentum into the upcoming season.

Reddick will be tasked with leading the league’s most dangerous pass rush currently going. If he can match, or even exceed his output from a year ago, then he will quickly vault himself near the top of the list.
