Philadelphia Eagles running back Kenneth Gainwell fumbled at the goal line during the first quarter of Sunday's win over the Washington Commanders.
Haters filled his inbox following his mistake and he couldn't help but respond…midgame.

Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni spoke on the matter during Monday's press conference.
“As far as the report, of course, we talked to Kenny about that,” Sirianni said. “These guys have some time away from us when we get into the locker room, where they sit down at their locker, and they do whatever is going to take their mind and just calm it. Some of this stuff is part of these guys’ lives, so he’s sitting at the locker. Should he respond to somebody that, I don’t even know what if it is called tweeting, texting him, or DMing him? No, he shouldn’t respond to that guy or that girl at all. Of course, we’ve talked to him about that to be locked in and be focused and not worried about outside noise.”
While Sirianni didn't think Gainwell's decision to respond during halftime or at all was appropriate, he also wasn't a fan of the alleged Eagles fan and called him/her out for their actions.
“He knows he made a mistake responding back to that person, who I’m assuming is an Eagles fan who then took a snapshot of it and posted on it,” Sirianni said. “That’s a whole different set of issues if he’s an Eagles fan or whatever. I won’t even get into that. So yeah, I’m not even going to say anymore.”
The 7-1 Eagles take on the Dallas Cowboys in Week 9 where Gainwell can, hopefully, get a chance to redeem himself.
