The Philadelphia Eagles ran the ball for a whopping total of 46 yards on 18 attempts in Week 13's disappointing 42-19 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

A pair of Eagles fans took note and didn't hold back on sending a message to head coach Nick Sirianni and staff.

The fans spent their Wednesday morning standing outside the Eagles' NovaCare Complex practice facility holding a sign that read, "RUN THE BALL."

Some Eagles players, including offensive tackle Jordan Mailata, acknowledged them on their way in.

The sign also scored the fans a free cup of coffee, courtesy of the Eagles.

"We gave them coffee," Siranni said when asked by reporters during Wednesday's presser if he had seen the sign.

"Hey, I love our fans. I love their passion and their energy. That’s not the first time I’ve heard ‘run the ball.’ You know what, we do need to continue to try to run the ball. No, I’m not surprised by that, and I appreciate their energy because I know that same energy of those guys sitting out there this morning when I drove in, they’re going to have that same energy when they’re cheering us on in the stadium and I’m thankful and grateful for that."

The (10-2) Eagles take on the (9-3) Dallas Cowboys this Sunday where Sirianni and the gang will, hopefully, get their ground game rolling again.
