Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni claims there's no more beef between he and former Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon.

However, when Gannon, now head coach of the Arizona Cardinals, returns to the Linc on Sunday, Sirianni isn't going to welcome him back with open arms.

Sirianni joined the WIP Morning Show on Wednesday morning where he discussed the upcoming New Year's Eve matchup and coaching against his former employee.

"As much as I love Jonathan Gannon, because I do. I hired him to be the defensive coordinator and we had so many special moments in the past two years," Sirianni said. "And my sentiment towards Jonathan Gannon is not the same of what I hear the city's sentiment is, alright? I love him, alright? I'm always rooting for him except for obviously this week.

"I want him to feel so freaking uncomfortable… and I'm going to tell him I said this… I want him to feel so uncomfortable, which I'm already sensing that's going to happen, when he walks into that stadium that he's never going to come back to Philly again. Even if he's left some stuff in his house that he has to go back and pick up. I want this guy to feel so uncomfortable."

Gannon and Sirianni spent two seasons together, including a trip to Super Bowl LVII that didn't end in their favor. Two days after the crushing 38-35 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, Gannon was named the Cardinals' head coach.

Many believe Gannon is still to blame for losing to K.C. after the Eagles' defense allowed three touchdown drives and the game-winning field goal in the second half alone.

If Sirianni can't successfully make him feel uncomfortable, Eagles fans will have his back.
