Eagles HC says exactly what needs to be said about Jalen Hurts

The Philadelphia Eagles have everything they need to reach the Super Bowl in 2022, so, there is a lot of pressure on the team to have a successful season.
If there was one thing that would hold this team and this roster back, it would be the quarterback position. That's not necessarily how I feel, but a lot of people still aren't sold on Jalen Hurts.
While he had some good and bad moments last season, his first full year, he is still so young. According to head coach Nick Sirianni, he's only getting better.
"We have talked a lot about his development as a football player and I think what we have seen in practice over and over and over again is him being able to get through reads quicker, him being more accurate with his throws," Sirianni told the media on Wednesday.
"So, it's the same thing we have been talking about throughout the last month is his progression as a player… Guys that are competitive, guys that are tough, and guys that love football have the ability to reach their ceiling and I can see him continuing to grow."
Hurts showed some really great flashes in his second season. He showed that he has the potential to be a top-five quarterback in this league and one that can do everything with ease.
With Hurts' ability to throw and run, he could easily be an MVP contender in the near future.
Last season he threw for over 3,000 yards and had 16 touchdowns along with nine interceptions. On the ground, he finished with over 700 rushing yards and had 10 rushing touchdowns.
Imagine what he can do in his second full season. The way I think about it is that was his rookie year. Now, he has a full year behind him. It's more of a mental thing for rookies than it is a skill, and as Sirianni said, he is learning everything so quickly.
Not to mention he will also have a better receiving corps this year, than last.
Look out for Hurts to be the leader the Eagles need this year. He is going to win them games off of his play alone, and in a few years, he could be winning MVPs, or Super Bowl MVPs for that matter.
