The Philadelphia Eagles have been one of the league's biggest stories so far in 2022. They have absolutely dominated the competition. The offense has been one of the league's best for four games, and the defense has been one of the best for three.

The culture is there, and we have heard head coach Nick Sirianni talk about it all year long. They have preached that 'dawg mentality' to the team, and it has been reflected in their play.

One thing the team has done, that I am a huge fan of, is the turnover t-shirt. If you still don't know what that is, here is what Sirianni explained it as.

“We spend a lot of time going over ways we can be better at creating turnovers and be better at taking care of the football like we know how important that stat is to winning and losing football games," Sirianni told the media a few weeks ago. "So, anything we can do to promote it, to get better at it, we do, and this was an idea by the defensive staff, to have turnover T-shirts.

“I mean, who doesn’t like getting gear with their picture on it creating a big-time pay in the game? The only thing I was a little upset about is Slay only got one T-shirt. I kind of got on the defensive staff a little bit that Slay should have gotten two. And then this week we created the one turnover last week. I just got the shirts on my desk but I won’t wear them until the players get them.”

That is the cultural aspect we are talking about. That is what this team is feeding off of, and it starts with Sirianni.

Now, heading into Week 6, Sirianni will have to continue to honor his deal with the players. More specifically, he will have to honor the deal with new safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson, who has a very impressive interception against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5.

Gardner-Johnson hasn't had a play on a t-shirt yet, but now he will have one. This defense has been great, and he is a huge reason why.

The Eagles currently have the most turnovers forced in the league, and I think this method is a huge reason why. I also think we will see plenty of merchandise with players' plays on it for the rest of the year.
