Eagles Injury Report: Philadelphia confirms suspicion regarding two stars’ availability for Raiders matchup
Check out the latest Eagles injury report for Week 15.
The Philadelphia Eagles are prepping to try to earn a win in Week 15 against the Las Vegas Raiders. With the NFC East race tightening over the past month of play, it is an important game for the team in green, and their injury situation will play a role in the AFC/NFC clash.
Final injury report for Eagles matchup vs. Raiders in Week 15
The Eagles confirmed what plenty of fans feared in their final injury report for this weekend’s game against Las Vegas. Defensive lineman Jalen Carter has been ruled out due to his shoulders injury. Offensive tackle Lane Johnson has also been ruled out, after some early-week hopes that he may return this week.
Johnson seemingly teased a return around the corner on Monday with a simple social media post, but it looks like that will be delayed. He has been dealing with multiple ailments this season, and this latest foot injury may be the most frustrating of all. For Philadelphia, their offensive line looks notably different without him in the lineup, but it isn’t all bad news on that front.
Interior offensive lineman Landon Dickerson has no injury designation for Sunday’s game. He will be available for the Eagles, which is a major boost inside along the OL. Offensive lineman Cameron Williams had his practice window opened this week and is listed as questionable.
For the Eagles as a whole, they have no excuse to lose this game – even without Johnson or Carter. The Raiders are one of the worst teams in football right now and will start backup (and former Eagles QB) Kenny Pickett versus Philly in a game with frigid weather conditions.
The snowy environment should open the door for success on the ground via Saquon Barkley, and it is difficult to expect that Jalen Hurts will turn the ball over like he did in Week 14 during their loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. We’ll see if the Eagles can, in fact, overcome these injury hiccups and get back on track. They need to end this three-game losing skid.
