Injury report observations:

  • Starting defensive tackle Fletcher Cox (back) practiced in full on Thursday, though he told reporters that he's not sure he will be available come Sunday.
  • Carter took most of the snaps in Cox's absence last week so let's hope at least one of them is able to play vs. the Jets.
  • Evans' knee injury appears to be serious after he missed another practice and if Brown (hamstring) can't play either, then the Eagles are left with Terrell Edmunds and Reed Blankenship at safety.
  • Slay also missed his second straight practice, which is concerning considering the Eagles are weak at cornerback depth.
  • Starting linebacker Nakobe Dean returned to practice on Wednesday and told reporters he is feeling "close to 100 percent" with his foot injury.
