The Philadelphia Eagles will hold a walkthrough on Wednesday as they prepare to take on the New York Giants for their regular season finale.

One of the biggest questions this week revolves around cornerback Darius Slay and wide receiver DeVonta Smith's status for Sunday.

Slay has been rehabbing his knee post-surgery while Smith is dealing with a mild ankle sprain.

According to head coach Nick Sirianni, Smith and Slay, along with linebacker Zach Cunningham (knee), are trending toward being available this week.

Also, NBC Sports' Dave Zangaro reports that Smith's boot and crutches from Sunday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals have been ditched.

He adds that Smith was walking around the locker room just fine.

This post will be updated when the Eagles release their first Week 18 injury report this afternoon.

Injury Report Observations

  • Smith did not practice today as shown below, though Thursday will be more telling.
  • Davis is a new addition to the injury report with an ankle issue.
  • Slay practiced for the first time in three weeks, which is huge for the secondary.
  • Cunningham also returned to practice, another big win for the Eagles' defense ahead of playoffs.
  • Maddox was injured on Sunday and played limited snaps, but it appears to be nothing to be too concerned about.
