Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nakobe Dean has had trouble staying healthy.
After returning from the injured reserve just a few weeks ago, he is set to go back on it.
According to multiple reports, Dean suffered a Lisfranc injury in last Sunday’s win over the Dallas Cowboys.
In layman's terms, Dean is dealing with a sprain in his left foot.
And no, it's not the same foot that caused Dean to miss four games earlier this season after he injured it in the season opener against the New England Patriots. That was on the right foot.
No offense to Dean, but his absence won't be a huge loss for the Eagles as they've already navigated a good chunk of the season without him and even when he was available, he didn't do too much to help them.
Nicholas Morrow and Zach Cunningham will be expected to step up in his place once again.
In five games, Dean has 30 tackles, two tackles for loss, and half sack on the year so far.
He'll join injured tight end Dallas Goedert (forearm) in the recovery process.
Eagles’ biggest need at midseason
Now is the time for the Eagles to make adjustments.
