Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts didn't want to talk much about the team's ugly Week 11 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Wednesday.
After answering a few questions on the Eagles' sloppy ninth victory, Hurts was beyond ready to move on to their Week 12 matchup against the Buffalo Bills.
"I’m waiting on the Bills question at this point," Hurts said.
“What’s done is done. The tone moving forward is taking it one week at a time, one game at a time," Hurts went on after being asked about Josh Allen. "But we’re about to play a really good team, with really good players, with a really good quarterback, with a really good defense. They’re well-coached so that’s where our focus is and embracing the challenge ahead of us.”
The Bills are coming off a 32-6 blowout victory over the New York Jets. Now at 6-5, Buffalo is on the hunt for a post-season run.
Josh Allen leads the league with 22 touchdown passes and is fourth in passing yards with 2,875 entering. While ranks amongst the best, he's also tied for most interceptions with 12.
On defense, the Bills have allowed 24 or less points over their last four matchups with defensive end Leonard Floyd leading the team with 9.5 sacks.
“Their defense is very disruptive," Hurts said. "Their defensive line is very disruptive and they have 22 years of experience back there in the backend with those two safeties (Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde). They’ve been playing for a very long time. I’ve been watching them for a very long time, from high school to college, crazy saying that … but a ton of respect for this team, a ton of respect for the way that they’re coached and what they’re able to do as a team so it’s a huge challenge for us.”
The Eagles, who are coming off a quick turnaround, are 3.5-point favorites over the Bills.
"The most important thing right now is really keeping the main thing, the main thing… taking it one day at a time, focusing on our preparation," Hurts said.
Eagles expected to have interest in signing All-Pro LB
But they’ll have to compete with the Cowboys.
