Following a remarkable season that led his team to Super Bowl LVII, Philadelphia Eagles QB Jalen Hurts recently accomplished another big feat. Except this time, it was off the field and it's something that's unique among most NFL players.
Hurts went back to school to get his Master's degree in Human Relations. He graduated on Friday from the University of Oklahoma.
It is not often you see a player go back to prioritize school after earning their first NFL contract.
It is even more rare to see that be for a degree outside of a bachelor's.
Hurts has earned the respect of fans, coaches, and teammates for more reasons than just his football skills. If something has been made clear about the Eagles quarterback since his college days, it's his maturity and leadership skills. This achievement sheds more light on what he's all about. The $255 million man striving to get better and continue his education. Gotta respect that.
It's certainly been a busy start to 2023 for Jalen, as his agent Nicole Lynn detailed on Twitter outlining his run of all types of wins. We're betting Hurts intends to keep stacking Ws when the season starts.
