The Philadelphia Eagles were able to snap their three-game losing streak by beating the New York Giants 33-25 on Christmas Day.

However, a win wasn't enough for Eagles top wide receiver A.J. Brown, who declined to speak to the media after the win.

"I was taught if I had nothing [good] to say to not say anything. I'll take the fine if I have to," Brown told reporters.

Brown led the receivers with 80 yards on six catches in the victory.

So, why was he so upset?

Eagles' quarterback Jalen Hurts attempted to make sense of Brown's reaction during Wednesday's presser.

“I don’t know," Hurts said. "I don’t wanna speak for him. I know he’s a competitor, he demands a lot out of himself. And that goes for everyone else in the locker room. He has a standard for himself, and he wants that from everyone around him.”

The Eagles are 16 weeks into the season and continue to make the same offensive mistakes with too many turnovers and giving up too many points in the red zone.

Perhaps Brown is just fed up with all of the sugarcoating and didn't want to come off too strong while his emotions were high after a not-so-pretty win.

Still, the Eagles are 11-4 and en route to the playoffs for the third consecutive season, which is enough to be excited about.
