Jalen Hurts knows he has the potential to be a Pro Football Hall of Famer.

It's something he's dreamed of since he was little. Well, in recent news, his game-worn jersey beat him to the building.

On Wednesday, the Pro Football Hall of Fame announced that Hurts' jersey, which he wore in Week 14 when he ran for his 10th rushing touchdown of the season in a 48-22 win over the New York Giants, will be enshrined in the memorial of football greatness.

During that game, Hurts became the only quarterback with 10-plus touchdowns in consecutive seasons. He joined former Carolina Panthers starting quarterback Cam Newton as one of the NFL's most prominent running quarterbacks.

And for it, his jersey now hangs in the halls next to the greats.

Hurts' 2022 season was special. He was in the MVP conversation until the bitter end.

He threw for 3,701 yards (10th), 22 touchdowns (14th), and six interceptions (tied for fourth). He also possessed a QBR of 66.4 (fourth).

Hurts also added 13 rushing touchdowns and 760 yards on the ground.

There weren't many quarterbacks better than Hurts when the season came to a close. And he saved his best for last with his heroic performance in the Super Bowl.

It may not be enshrinement in Canton, yet, but Hurts' jersey being in the building shows that his career is heading in the right direction.
