Throughout Jason Kelce's final season in the National Football League, fans also got a real glimpse into the Philadelphia Eagles center's life, especially seeing how he was around his family.
And with that, people fell in love with Jason's wife, Kylie Kelce.
So during his retirement speech, Jason took a moment to thank his biggest supporter.
"I won't forget the Eagles Christmas party in 2014, and heading out afterwards with a bunch of my teammates to Buffalo Billiards, where my life would change forever. That night, I'd meet my future wife," Kelce said while getting choked up. "I still remember the moment she walked through the door. The first instance is burned in my retina. It was like she glided through the opening, an aura around her. Then she started talking and I thought, 'Man, is this what love feels like?'
"She was beautiful and smart, serious yet playful. I knew it right away. I think it's no coincidence that I have enjoyed my best years of my career with Kylie by my side. Every accolade that I have ever received has come with her in my life. She has brought the best out of me through love, devotion, support, honest, intelligence, and of course a swift kick in the a** from time to time.
She has also given me three beautiful girls and a life that increasingly brings me more fulfillment off the field than it does on. We've had a great run Ky."
The relationship between Jason and Kylie is one of the most iconic. And the story of their first date went viral.
The two met on Tinder and ultimately made plans to meet a bar. However, during their first date, Jason got too tipsy.
"You fell asleep 45 minutes after I got there on the bar table because he was too drunk," Kylie recalled on the New Heights podcast.
