The Philadelphia Eagles are an organization that cares plenty about their players. They proved that once again on Monday. The Eagles made a unique move in order to give one of their players a better chance to play somewhere else. They came to an agreement with safety Anthony Harris to allow him to negotiate and join a different roster.

Harris played just one season for the Eagles. That being said, they loved his veteran presence last season.

He played well at times, but they decided to move on this offseason. Harris had been on the practice squad, but they wanted to give him a better opportunity to go start somewhere else. It makes sense for both sides. The Eagles have added younger talent at the safety position during this off-season.

The safety had 72 tackles and one interception last season for the Eagles.
