The Philadelphia Eagles have made their decision on defensive tackle Fletcher Cox and running back D'Andre Swift ahead of their 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff vs. the New York Giants.

Both starters have been ruled out for the Eagles' regular-season finale.

Swift will not suit up due to an illness that came up on Friday, while Cox will rest ahead of playoffs.

Cornerback Darius Slay (knee) and wide receiver DeVonta Smith (ankle) are the other two key players who are inactive today.

Swift finishes his first regular season with the Birds rushing for 1,049 yards (his first 1,000-yard season) on 229 attempts with five touchdowns. He also snagged 39 catches for another 214 yards and score through 16 games.

Without Swift, the Eagles will turn to backups Kenny Gainwell, Boston Scott and Rashaad Penny.

Swift, Slay, Smith and Cox are all expected to make their return for Round 1 of the NFL Playoffs.
