The Philadelphia Eagles entered the offseason with one of the best rosters in the NFL.

And then they proceeded to land two stud defenders in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft in Georgia linebacker Nolan Smith and Georgia defensive tackle Jalen Carter, further improving an already elite roster.

The scary thing for the rest of the NFC is that the Eagles may not be done adding talent this offseason.

There are several NFL players who could potentially be traded before the 2023 season begins.

CBS Sports recently detailed potential landing spots for those.

One of the players they think could be traded is Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker, a five-time Pro Bowler (including the 2022 season).

Baker requested a trade earlier this offseason.

From CBS Sports: Baker requested a trade out of Arizona earlier this offseason, and given the position that roster is in, it might make sense for the team to grant him his way and begin to restock its cupboard of draft picks. A high-impact secondary player who plays much bigger than his size (5-10, 195 pounds), Baker has also shown himself to be highly durable, missing only five games in six seasons. He carries base salaries of $13.1 million and $14.2 million over the next two years, and he should be able to maintain a high level of play even beyond that, as 2024 is only his age-28 season.

I'm sure Baker would love a shot at a Super Bowl at this stage of his career, which is why I'm betting he wouldn't mind landing in Philadelphia.

And the Eagles could certainly use Baker's experience in the secondary after losing safeties CJ Gardner-Johnson and Marcus Epps in free agency.

Nothing is imminent with Baker and the Eagles, but it's worth noting that Philly traded for Garnder-Johnson two weeks before the start of the 2022 season. Gardner-Johnson ended up playing a key role for the Eagles last year.

It wouldn't be a surprise if Philly makes another move for a safety before the start of the 2023 season. And if they do, Baker could be their best bet.
