Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons had some words for Philadelphia Eagles' C.J. Gardner-Johnson, who was fired up after Sunday's 15-13 win and called the New Orleans Saints "pretenders" and "not contenders."

Parsons shared his thoughts on those comments on his podcast, "The Edge with Micah Parsons."

"I don't know who C.J. Gardner-Johnson thinks he is bro," Parsons said. "We've been dealing with this cat for a while. I think Derek Carr has validated himself way before C.J. has ever done, in the most respectful way. Derek Carr was one the highest-paid quarterback, let's be real. Carr has always been a pretty damn good quarterback. … I'm not targeting these guys … but when you got a pretty much healthy roster against a damaged front, it kind of limits the things you can do.

"Any defense that's holding a team like the Eagles offense to 15 points is a pretty damn (good) team. C.J. must have an unrealistic idea of what a pretty damn (good) team looks like. … If you're barely beating a team and the score is 15-12, I mean, it probably says a lot right there. It's not like you blew them out. That's kind of a mind-boggling statement to me."

Gardner-Johnson is the last person you want to call out if you don't want anything said in return.

CJGJ took to X/Twitter to fire back at Parsons:

"Fam the league knows who I am (forget the narrative) @MicahhParsons11 !! You can check my track record and how I over came a lot! Won a lot more playoff games than you too my guy."

He didn't stop there.

"We can watch film on your podcast from rookie year to now !!! If people don’t know who I am."

Gardner-Johnson had one last comment for Parsons, but it has since been deleted.

"This man really a hoe for speaking on me, sorry not sorry!!!"

The Eagles and Cowboys don't play each other until NFL Week 10, but it looks like things just got a lot more personal.
