I think it is safe to say we got the four best teams remaining in the playoffs, which means the two best teams in the NFC are in the NFC Championship game.
All season long these two teams were the most dominant in the NFC, and the Philadelphia Eagles showed time and time again they were the best team not only in the NFC but the league.
The San Francisco 49ers are very good though, the second-best team in the NFC, and, as we said, one of the best four teams in football. These two NFC teams could be the future of the conference. I think everyone knows that too, including Sirianni.
"One thing I can say is I know how good their o-line is and I know how good our line is," Sirianni said. "I know the same thing with the d-lines, both really good d-lines. Obviously, I think very in the present right and I think about this game and in this day and not think about what
could happen down the road, but I know that both teams are built the right way as far as their o-line d-line.
"So I'd let you guys be the decider if this is something that could be going on for years. I know the 49ers, this is their third out of four years that they've made it to this game. That's pretty darn impressive in my opinion. That's a great streak to have. Sure we'd love to have that but all we're really focusing on is this game at this time and knowing that we're playing a good football team and that we're a good football team."
Both of these teams have some of the best offense and defense in the league. As Sirianni said, they both have amazing lines, on offense and defense. Not only that, but because of the young stars they have on their team, both will be competing for quite some time, and possibly be in the playoffs for the next few years.
Jalen Hurts, with the growth he has had in just two years, looks to be the guy that can lead the NFC as the best quarterback in the conference. The Eagles just have so many things going right for them and will have so many things going right for them for years ahead. but, it's pretty evident the 49ers are on their tails.
