The Philadelphia Eagles have been dominant on both sides of the ball, to say the least, which is a huge reason they are 6-0, and the only undefeated team in the league.
They have one of the best offenses in the league, which is operated by Jalen Hurts, who is playing at an elite level. They have A.J. Brown, who is one of the best wide receivers in the league, and DeVonta Smith, who is well on his way. And, they can run the ball with Sanders and Hurts as well.
The defense has one of the best cornerbacks in the league in Darius Slay, who is actually the best corner in my opinion, and Haason Reddick, who is the hometown kid who is having the best season up front so far.
Speaking of Reddick, the Eagles notice his play too, and one of the coaches couldn't help but give him credit.
"He's a very versatile player," defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon said. "He is very selfless, he understands, when we ask him to do certain things, why that is, to help his teammates. And, you know, he has a unique skill set where you have seen it show up. You know he is good in the run game, the pass game, he can affect the passer.
"We know that people have to be aware of him, we use him when we set up certain looks to help other players. The value of that, like I said, sometimes it shows up in the stat sheet, sometimes it doesn't, but when you have a player like that he is helping us win every game."
Reddick has over 20 sacks, 28 actually, since 2020, which is insane to think about. This guy is doing virtually whatever he wants on the field, even after leaving a great defensive system in Carolina.
The Eagles have weapons on both sides of the ball, and Reddick is one of them on defense. This guy is a freak, and other teams do game plans against him. Even when he isn't getting sacks, he is still affecting the game.
In a way, he has almost been the Eagles secret weapon, because somehow, not a whole lot people know about how good Reddick is.
To make things even better, he is a Philly kid through and through.
