The Philadelphia Eagles are 8-1 after beating the Dallas Cowboys 28-23 in Week 9.

It was a thrilling matchup that came down to the wire, but thanks to the Eagles' defense and Dak Prescott's short throw to CeeDee Lamb as time expired, Philly was able to come out on top.

With that win, the Birds now hold a three-game lead in the NFC East and are in first with a two-game lead amongst all teams in the NFC.

Eagles fans can relax because the Eagles will make the playoffs. In fact, their chance of even securing the No. 1 spot is over 50 percent.

Looking at the Eagles' second half of their schedule, it doesn't get any easier but it's also far from impossible.

Week 10 bye
Week 11 at Kansas City Chiefs
Week 12 vs. Buffalo Bills
Week 13 vs. San Francisco 49ers
Week 14 at Dallas Cowboys
Week 15 at Seattle Seahawks
Week 16 vs. New York Giants
Week 17 vs. Arizona Cardinals
Week 18 at New York Giants

Their last three games should be a piece of cake.

And even if the Eagles lose a game or two before that, they have put themselves in such a perfect position that they still could land the No. 1 seed heading into the NFL playoffs.

However, they must stay healthy and Jalen Hurts' banged-up knee is currently a concern with there being a lot of ball left to play.
