The Philadelphia Eagles lost both their offensive and defensive coordinators this off-season. Shane Steichen, the offensive coordinator, took the Colts’ job as their head coach while Jonathan Gannon, the defensive coordinator, took the head coach job in Arizona.

Now, the Eagles are left to decide who will become their next two coordinators. Sometimes things like these happen in-house, but sometimes the organization will bring someone else in if they feel the guys under them aren’t yet ready.

But, I have a feeling the Eagles might promote someone on the staff to defensive coordinator, and if they do, these could be some guys we see get the job.

Dennard Wilson, the Eagles' defensive passing game coordinator, and defensive backs coach, is a guy I could easily see getting a chance at being the next defensive coordinator if they were to stay in house. This year, Wilson was a huge reason the Eagles had the best pass defense in the league when it came to the secondary.

The defense will stay somewhat similar if not exactly the same, so Wilson would not have to worry about much change. He currently is the defensive guy with the highest "rank" on the team when it comes to coaching.

Tracy Rocker, the Eagles' defensive line coach, was the coach of a defensive line that was one of the best all-time in terms of getting sacks. They were just a few short of getting the all-time record and even broke the franchise record.

And finally, the Eagles' outside linebackers coach and defensive ends coach Jeremiah Washburn will also likely be a name we hear as a guy to be considered for the job. But, he isn't as qualified as the guys ahead of him, in my opinion.

I don't really think you can go wrong with any of these guys, but it will still be interesting to see what happens nonetheless.
