The Philadelphia Eagles may not have a mountain of picks in the 2023 NFL Draft, but two picks in the first round after making it to the Super Bowl is something that every Philly fan should be very happy about.

Great draft position and not having to play poorly to get there is something to celebrate, and owning the tenth overall pick is going to play very well for a team that is going to do everything in its power to get over the Super Bowl hump in 2023.

One player that will fit in with the Eagles and help their chances next season (and every other team in the top-ten) is Oregon corner Christian Gonzalez.

Gonzalez was able to put together a quality 2022 season with a  scrappy Oregon team to make a name for himself as a prospect for teams to keep their eyes on and his athletic testing at the combine has all but ensured that the future star won't make it out of the early first round.

The best way to show this is with the use of RAS (relative athletic score). Devised by Kent Lee Platte, this score is a way of equalizing all prospects over the past few decades and comparing their athletic traits in a way that allows for straight comparisons and rankings between players of the same position.

Traits may not be everything, but this score is a great indicator of where many players' ceiling are at. That is what makes the 9.99 unofficial score for Gonzalez so important.

This number will likely change as some of the testing data becomes more official over the coming hours, but Gonzalez has already proven by these metrics that he is one of the best blends of athleticism and size to ever play the position.

This ridiculous score mixed with a excellent college tape makes for a player that most teams couldn't pass on if they didn't have a bigger need at quarterback. Great for the Eagles.

Gonzalez did just get much harder to draft based on a a likely bump that will come from these numbers, but there is still a real chance that he could be available at ten.

The Eagles would have no choice if they had the chance.
