There could be a new trend on the way in the football world thanks to Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.

In the Eagles' 37-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, Hurts had a minor wardrobe malfunction in the fourth quarter when his left shoe flew off after taking a hit out of bounds.

The knot on the shoe was so tight that he couldn't get it back on. The solution? Wear a different cleat.

But the Eagles had to waste a timeout.

"That was a first," Hurts said after the game. "I hate that we had to burn a timeout on that one. I had a double-knot. Usually when I wear a low top, Air Jordan, I gotta tie them up real tight so I can have ankle support. I had to go Jalen two-shoes for a bit. We got some points, so that was cool."

So, there he was — rocking a green Air Jordan on his right foot and a white Air Jordan on his left foot.

And he pulled it off well.

While Hurts could care less what he was wearing as he led the Eagles to victory, the equipment guy was beating himself up over the situation.

"I talked to (the equipment guy) in the back. This is something that's small. No one would think about it in terms of how much work and time, how much pride our equipment team puts into it. He was killing himself that we had to burn a timeout because of the shoe.

"And I'm like, 'Hey, man, next play. It's all right, let it go.' I'll never have a shortage of shoes, to say the least. I'm glad we were able to make the most of it, for sure."

Hurts finished completing 16-for-20 passes for 236 yards and a touchdown. He also ran the ball 10 times for 37 yards and three scores.
