Tiki Barber isn't happy about New York Giants free agent running back Saquon Barkley finding a new home with NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles.

Barber, a former Giants running back himself, appeared on WFAN Sports Radio and said, “You're dead to us, Saquon. Good luck, you’re dead to me.”

Barkley stood up for himself and clapped back at Barber on Twitter/X.

“@TikiBarber lol yup you’re the prime example of loyalty to a team,” Barkley wrote in a post on X. “I got the deal I wanted, secured more gm which wasn’t given to me before… so if fans are gonna hate me for that so be it! But I never turned my back on my teammates and always had theirs.”

Barkley didn't stop there.

In a separate post he wrote, "@TikiBarber you been a hater since I got to New York … and all the ‘Dead to me’”’ talk don’t smile in my face when you see me.”

Barkley appeared to be referring to calling out Barber's lack of loyalty when he retired in 2006 reportedly due to frustration with the Giants.

Barber responded.

“Cause I got tired of getting beat up and I left the game and they, by the way, won a Super Bowl after that. What are you talking about?” Barber said on WFAN. “I’ve been retired for 17 years, 18 years. I am now in the media. The fact that my emotional reaction responding to you going to the Philadelphia Eagles, which is by the way the voice of a lot of Giants fans. I’d say the majority of Giants fans. And you’re going to come back and talk about something from 17 years ago that you don’t even understand, or are misrepresenting. Fine, be that way, then.”

Barkley spent six seasons with the Giants after being drafted out of Penn State in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

He made four Pro Bowls during his time in New York.

He now joins a much better offensive line and overall better team.

And he is getting paid what he's worth after signing a three-year deal worth up to $46.75 million with $26 million guaranteed.

Giants fans should be happy for him.
