The Eagles won’t be afraid of the risk in all likelihood.

Mock draft season is always exciting for the NFL, and this year is no different. The Philadelphia Eagles are already crafting their board for the 2026 NFL Draft, as the Scouting Combine approaches.

A recent pick for the Eagles in a mock draft is an intriguing one for a multitude of reasons. Impending free agent Jaelan Phillips may throw a wrench in this projection before the Eagles ever have a chance to pick, but that’s not reality quite yet.

Eagles select Clemson EDGE rusher T.J. Parker

In the latest 3-round mock draft from A to Z Sports, the Eagles went withT.J. Parker, the EDGE rusher out of Clemson in the first round. It’s a pick that may concern fans when you consider what Parker did this past season, but the risk also holds quite the reward, based on how he develops at the pro level.

“You know as well as I do that Howie is itching to bury some more draft capital on pass rushers. Parker had a disappointing 2025 season at Clemson, but he’s a good blend of length, power, and quickness. The Eagles were thin down the stretch here and may lose Jaelan Phillips to free agency.” – Kyle Crabbs

Parker has some risk involved, as Crabbs notes. That being said, Howie Roseman is cool as a cucumber during the offseason and is never threatened by taking a chance. Instead, he normally goes toward it.

If Parker works out in the NFL, he has a 10+ sack per season (during his prime) sort of ceiling. The floor is just lower for him than other players who go in this range like Cashius Howell, Zion Young, and Akheem Mesidor, in my opinion. It is a boom or bust sort of pick, but Roseman has made those choices in the past.

Second and third-round picks in mock draft

54. Philadelphia Eagles – TE Max Klare, Ohio State

Klare’s blocking improved during his time at Ohio State, and the Eagles will value that. With Dallas Goedert potentially leaving in free agency, Klare makes a lot of sense for the Eagles as prospect who can step in right away with a role as a rookie, albeit even as not a starter potentially.

68. Philadelphia Eagles (via NYJ) – OL Gennings Dunker, Iowa

Dunker may project as a guard for many teams around the NFL, but even then, this is smart for the Eagles. They will need another starting guard option for next season, and depending on free agency, it may be the biggest need on offense entering April’s draft.

98. Philadelphia Eagles – CB Davison Igbinosun, Ohio State

This is great value for the Buckeyes defender. Igbinosun had some inconsistent moments during his college career, but overall, his potential is clear. He must clear up some “grabbiness” – but from an athleticism and physicality standpoint, he stands out in this class.

Philly needs cornerback depth, and he helps them accomplish that task.
